TCU and Baylor gave up a shitload of points and yards. Bad comparison. They were in a shootout almost every week

If going to the league and becoming a millionaire isn't enough motivation I don't know what is. Either you want to get better or you don't. I guess coach O has some new techniques that he's teaching that they didn't learn before.

TCU didn't give up a shitload of points every game and we are talking about teams that do more with less talent and I was speaking about Baylor's offense. TCU gave up a shit load to an awesome Baylor offense, that's it, and that's with how many big time recruits on defense in an offensive heavy league. They allowed 20.9 points per game, were 18th in overall defense and 8th in scoring defense in that league. That's impressive.

You'd be surprised how many of these kids think that the NFL is a given and think they can just coast into the league. Some coaches are well known as top motivators while some are definitely not. A coach can make a big difference. If you've been reading much you'd find that Brick and Yaw yaw have a different philosophy that does employ different technique.

O spent time with Pete Jenkins, among others. Sending a number of players into the NFL. Something like 13 players over the years having been drafted in the first round.
