Yeah qb was a problem. I'm just talking about formations and play calling. Still gotta execute, but you could tell the playbook was opened up a bit.
We scored 28 points. That should have been more than enough to beat ND. The defense shit the bed in that game.
I think it was the aTm game when they did more with the offense, but all they did was run a couple of jet sweeps. If we would have executed better the play calling wouldn't have seemed vanilla or if Jennings would have gone through his progressions instead of staring down Dural on go routes. It seemed vanilla because we knew where Jennings was going with the ball or trying to go. He was like Sammy Sosa, if he connected it was great but if not it was a strike out
As well he should be a one-man show. With all of the talk about Fournette being a once-in-a-generation talent, we should be able to rely on him. The fact still remains that we took the lead with less than two minutes in the game, and the defense, once agian, lost the game right at the end. Sound familiar?
No one denys that the D blew, but it wasn't 100% their fault. Th O fucking sucked outside of LF7 AKA Jennings. We should have beaten that team by 2 TD's.
I don't disagree, but our defense had way too hard of a time getting off the field. In retrospect, we know that Chavis had one foot out the door and obviously didn't give a shit.
