That stuff means jack-****, he was going to be their starter this year, over 2 other highly recruited players. He is a good football player and way better than what we have now or what we would have next year when he could play.
I don't know how you can say he is way better than what we have now. He is an unknown commodity with baggage. May be a prospect, but not a sure thing.
True that. It really comes down to do you take a chance with his off the field issues. He hasn't played a game in college, he may turn out to be a good one, but there are no sure things especially at QB.
Well, here's what I know for sure. OK, maybe not "for sure", but "pretty sure"... 2010 - Jefferson, Lee, Walkon, Walkon 2011 - Jefferson, Lee, Walkon, Walkon, Rivers (not ready to play) 2012 - Walkon, Rivers.... LSU needs another QB, and they need one that can play in 2012 FOR SURE! Rivers is a guy who probably needs a RS year, then a mop up time year. So, unless LSU is going to steal one of the top 5 QBs from another school, Les Miles needs to grab someone from a JC or CC who can play in 2012. If Miles and staff think he's worth the risk, I say go for it.
Not Masoli........... I would rather he steal my computer (especially if he got caught) than feel up my daughter......:thumb:
Imagine what he would do here. We have hot girls all over and tons of booze. DWI's are practically given out at birth. No thanks, man. He's not worth the risk. I'd rather LSU struggle with integrity than to get a black eye with another boneheaded QB. And this whole "everybody does it" argument is a load of crap. Regardless, he is held to a higher standard because he represents an entire school. Is it fair? Maybe not, but it comes with the territory, and he was/is getting to live his dream playing QB for a flagship university. I just hope it isn't here.
