Jarrett Lee's best day as a Tiger 14 of 18 2TDs ... save him for Bama NOW ... Get JJ in there for ALL 4th Quarter

Chizik will remember this arse-whippin forever!

    6 sacks ... lol

C'mon Lee ... get that last TD ... and call it an afternoon!

367 yards after 3 quarters ... Is it going to 500 yards and 60 points?

With the Auburn game in the books:

    LSU team passing stats:

    112-176, 63.6 %, 1465 yards, 8.3 ypa, 16 TDs, 1 Int, 162.32 QB Rating

LSU is now 9th ranked nationally as a team in passing efficiency.

Ahead of Oklahoma State, USC, Clemson, Arkansas, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Oklahoma and any and all SEC teams.

Last year, we were 92nd with a 117.59 rating.

Had Wright caught that ball in the endzone, LSU would have a 167.77 rating, good for 7th nationally.

LSU is looking pretty at the QB position. My only concern is other than the one big pass by JJ, he didn't actually do much of anything else. 3 drives; 1 TD on a long pass, one 3 and out, one 5 and out. Lee's only 3 and a few of the game was due to the refs not giving forward progress on a pass. Our only 2 sacks of the game actually came from JJ. . . .who'd have thought that? Heck Lee even made a good move to avoid a sack and stayed in the pocket. Only reason I say this is because against Bama it could very well be that every drive will matter.

I think looking at the progress of Lee over this year, it's amazing to see where he was at in the Oregon game compared to where he is now. That Randle TD pass was actually his 3rd check down. . .

Remember when I graded him out as a C- vs Oregon and a few people jumped down my throats? They thought he should grade out no worse than a B.

Now we see that was really a mediocre performance for him based on what we see now out of him.
