Correct about last season, but Doucet had an ankle that caused him to miss the Peach Bowl vs Miami (although that wasn't what I was referring to.)

Maybe not...Flynn sat out only a week after his sprain and App. St. isn't for nearly three more weeks. That's plenty of time for him to heal up, and he'll still be more versed in the system than JJ despite the setback.

I agree that the deal is sealed for Hatch...and this might be a blessing in disguise by making sure that Hatch gets 100% of the snaps with the first team for the next few weeks and gets more comfort and confidence.

I'm still a Lee fan. But Hatch intrigues me.

As much as an optimist as I am, this bothers me... I mean, yes a QB can play through that injury a bit easier than a WR, RB, etc.. but I remember how flat alot of Flynn's passes looked when he couldn't plant his feet ..

I'm sure he'll be ok as long as Hatch and Jefferson can give him time to stay off that ankle. Hopefully they can.

i agree, because of the situation, we really need them at 100% health wise. hopefully, by the time the season starts, he will be.

he has 18 days, 23 hours, and 25 mins. not that im counting......

In my opinion, he has until Sept 20 (Auburn).

30+ days is more than enough time.

14 days is close to enough time. HE will be fine. :)

Blessing in disguise if he misses a game or two imo, because if LSU wins those games without him, then Auburn has no film on Lee.

Now, that just scares me. I don't want Lee's first NCAA experience to be on the road @ AU. Talk about "Welcome to the SEC!"

What about him working out game jitters and inexperienced mistakes on the road at Auburn though? I thinkt that takes away any advantage we might have in lack of film.

I see you beat me to it :)

Nothing wrong with being positive. I'm just thinking that if he didn't play against the scrubs, I wouldn't want him to be in that game. I'd be more comfortable with Hatch or Jefferson starting that game if they're the ones who got the reps.

J-Lee was at practice today...just not when TigerBait was there. Think he may have been getting extra tape on his ankle during that part of practice. You can see him on the LSUsports video of todays practice.

    FWIW
