Agree B, he has something you can work with, an NFL arm. An we have just the OC to help him in the developmental process.
He's one of the better QB's I've see come out of the state in years.

Not much of a sample size beings the last two were Hodson and Jones. Shit half the people on this board may have not been born yet.

Ok, us old guy's remember. I said this one before. His standing in the pocket and arm release somewhat reminds me of Rohan Davey coming out of high school. He has as much upside as any QB coming out of high school, too much Cam can do with this one.

So is every other SEC front-runner not named Mizzou. You could also say Auburn, but Marshall is a glorified RB who occasionally lobs a pass beyond the LOS.

From the sound of things, that's exactly what Rettig was.

They were doing that before Rettig left. Ever heard of Torrance Gibson?

Certainly, you're not of the impression that they are grooming Krag Jr to be the starter next year. Harris is a freshman, Jennings a sophomore. Both have plenty of eligibility left. We are recruiting QBs for next year, and already have a commitment from one for the following year.

The Mannings would like a word with you.

From what I've seen, Harris reminds me a lot of Perrilloux from a physical standpoint, but with a good head on his shoulders. Guy's arm is sick.

Those are two are the ones that made it to LSU and graded after the fact. There were plenty others that went else where or didn't pan out at the next level, whether they came to LSU or went elsewhere.

A lot of teams have new quarterbacks, few are as thin as us in depth.

Yep, in 2011 we won 13 games with one QB, indefinitely suspended most of the season. Not much depth that season. An who was the OC then?

I understand what you are saying Red, but looking back, most teams never have the 3 string QB seeing the field for anything. Many never have the backup seeing the field. Rettig was not doing what was needed, Krags was passing him by on the depth chart, by doing what was needed. The leaving by Rettig has been going on for a while, sometimes its better to let one walk away, better for both sides. Best of luck to him.

Went back all the way through the 2000 season, one year 2008, we really used 3 QB. Hatch was the man. Unforgettable, ok, forgettable season.

Depth, I saw the bama Spring Game, talk about depth. This was posted about the game.....

Still likes the way this one plays out.
