Consider NC QB's......Mauck,Flynn,McCarron,Tebow,etc. none of them lighting it up at the next level. Sometimes all you need is a guy with decent physical ability and superior mental ability. We seem to get the opposite!

    Welcome Southpaw!

Apparently Cam Cameron is not satisfied or comfortable with the LSU QB situation or they wouldn't have brought this guy in..............

Ororthopedic doctor, my cousin did his Residency under Dr. James Andrews. LSU Football has turned out a few in the profession. Dr Mike Blanchard did some work on my foot a few years back. He too started out as a Walkon, he started out the same year as Brett Bech. Brett is a S&C Coach with the Dallas Cowboys. Dr Blanchard and Brett were the only ones to finish LSU from their Walkon class.

It's not where you start, but where you finish. I'm tired of hyped high school signal callers who lack fundamentals and touch. Give us a game manager who completes 60% of his passes and isn't afraid to use his checkdowns and tight ends/backs liberally and LSU dominates.

We have speed guys on the edge.

We have a stellar run game.

Decent offensive front that Grimes hopefully improves.

Just give me a guy who throws the intermediate passes supremely well and that opens up the outside edge and deep balls which loosen the defense for the run game.

Dominate through simple basic fundamental football.

He does look kind of like Doogie Howser. I hope he is older than he looks

Yeah, well said. Don't know if this guy will be what you describe, but let's keep our fingers crossed. When's the last time LSU had a starting southpaw?

Was it Mike Hillman in 1968?

That completely eludes me currently, I can't think of one.

You know it's really a catch 22. If this kid actually does something at LSU, isn't that a bad thing, i mean unless he just outright beats out Harris and Jennings, and even then, that still could be seen as a bad thing considering how everyone thinks Brandon Harris will be the next coming of Jesus.

Maybe we will have a new Jesus. How could a quarterback who can actually pass as well as manage the game be a bad thing?
