So go ahead and give up on this season midway thru with a one loss team ranked in the top ten. But don't get back on the bandwagon later if this team continues to win. I won't expect you to come back and recognize the coaching it took to get the improved qb play. I'm enjoying a 5-1 top ten ranked team. Been around to go through the losing seasons.

Bashing on the tiger coaches and players on this forum is one thing, but do you realize that if there was a SERIOUS movement to really, actually fire Coach Miles under these current situations, and it really happened...LSU would not be able to attract a decent field of candidates.

Don't kid yourself by thinking that the LSU head coaching job would be one of the best in the nation. Don't kid yourself into thinking that we would be able to attract a coach that would want to stay at LSU for a very long time.

The really great candidates would all be thinking the same thing..."What do you have to do to be considered successful over there at LSU? I mean come on...they just ran off Les Miles and look what he has accomplished over there. How soon do you think they'll be calling for my head? Who needs this?"

LSU would become a springboard to other more amenable places.

We'd probably be lucky to get Bobby Bowden.

I'm glad that all that's going on is only bitching and moaning. And that's OK because that's one of the functions of this forum. LSU I like, I'm glad you feel a little better and got a lot off your chest. :). We'll all be pulling for the same team next Saturday at 6:30pm cause we're a brotherhood of tigers.
