good news, the good people of the world are mobilizing in favor of pussy riot.

also to the cajun sensations of the world. if you think syria is news, or saddam hussein made news in america when our neighbors had to go to war against him then you would be even more interested in what would happen if russia continues down this path. russia makes iraq look like a peanut.

    thanks.

anyways, the issue really isnt pussy riots music. i am aware that isnt the best. the issue is they are doing exactly what is needed in russia. when someone i s oppressive, the way to solve it is to force them to use this oppressive policy against you in a really public way.

in russia, courts are not actual courts, they are controlled by the government, which is controlled by putin. there are no real checks and balances. so the ruling this friday on pussy riot will come from putin himself. and that puts him in a tough spot because pussy riot, being smart, has used youtube and such to create a situation where the fact that peaceful protest isnt really allowed against a false democracy is really public. even paul mccartney has spoken about them.if putin jails pussy riot for years, it could really backfire. he is a tough spot. pussy riot is following a brilliant strategy for forcing putin to be putin in very public way.

i am not sure if the world in general really realizes or accepts what a terrible situation russia is in. it could be interesting to see how things go as we lead up to the olympics there.

that is exactly why the story is so good. they are drawing attention to it.

putin was president. then he trades places with his friend, medvedev. one is prime minister and the other is president. when the terms are up, they switch places, putin goes back to president. so putin is never out of power, he just switches places. he was recently re-elected. but he couldnt lose, the elections are a fraud. putin is taking the nation backwards. and we are not quite old enough to remember what an annoyance russia can be for the world, but i am sure red remembers.

so when pussy riot is interviewed in jail, they immediately talk about how the trail is a test case for putin. will he allow people to protest him in public, on youtube, and make a stir about his corruption, without jailing them? normally he could just throw them in jail, but now they are famous. people like you have heard of them.

another interesting question is whether the russian people would vote for putin even if their votes mattered. some people really like him and want him to be powerful and oppresive. because russians are a unique breed. all they care about is that you think they are tough. if putin kills people who protest, some russians like it because he is an alpha leader. it all leads back to whether the bush doctrine is true, the idea that people want to be free.

yunno how some women like you if you treat them like shit? it makes them comfortable because you remind them of their abusive father? thats how to bang strippers. anyways, thats what russia is like. they have a collective insecurity that makes them want to be rules with an iron fist. the same is true in korea. koreans are the most inferiority complexed mofos on the planet. thats why north korea is a shithole.

and religious people in general like subservience. they want to fear god. they want to feel guilty. thats why muslim countries accept oppressive regimes. they love it. they do not share our calvinist enlightenment.

so the question is, will al lnations evolve to eventually be peceful democracies like canada? wouldnt they want to? bush might say yes. i dont think so. people are stupid. they love god, they love putin, some loved saddam, some loved kim jong il, at least enough to put him in power.

pussy riot says the want russians to be like scandinavia, free and liberal and modern. and thats basically what every nation should aspire to. but russians like power. i know this because i ask them. i ask my russian strippers and cab drivers.

it seems so counterintuitive that people want to be ruled. but they are stupid, and they love it. thats why they love 50 shades of gray. slap a bitch around, she loves it. russia is like a dumb slut.
