That's a good question. I'd like to see Holiday or one of our speedy backs who can hang onto the rock
Chad Jones is the consensus favorite, although Holliday and Toliver(?) are rumored to be in the mix. Most of the improvement is going to have to come in the form of blocking, though. We can have Devon Hester back there to return kicks but it doesn't matter if all he can do is fair catch.
LaFell? Wasn't one of your criteria the ability to hold on to the ball? LOL, had to take a shot. I'm still a little sore at him from last year...
He'll make up for it this year! LaFell is going to be unbelievable this year. Also, that kid from Breaux Bridge, Dominick Davis' younger brother.
Miles seems to still be high on Chad Jones returning punts, which I just don't understand... Patrick Peterson could also get a few.
Size, speed, and agility. One bad fumble as a green freshman doesn't disqualify him. I'd like to see Peterson, too. I still like Holliday for kickoffs.
There was an article on him this morning. Apparently in HS, Jones was a Safety, a corner, a LB, and a RB. He carried for almost 500 yards in spare duty.
I like Jones. He's fast, shifty, and hard to tackle. All he's gotta work on is not trying to field a punt in such tight areas... I wanna see what Peterson can do because you want playmakers returning the balls and thats what Peterson is. I'd like to see maybe Jared Mitchell or one of the WR's that won't play as much back there too.
