Reasons:

- Because conservatives value security over freedom they are more comfortable in a father-dominated environment, and are thus more vulnerable to listening to and believing people who present themselves as authority figures.
- Liberals are more prone to openmindedness, shared information responsibilities, acceptance of science, and thus to exploration and acceptance of truths.

Anecdotal at best and even that is giving it too much credit.

 

I see the phenomenon here all the time.

 

Maybe he is not man enough to be a Republican and is jealous or maybe we give him a woody.

 

Your brain is clouded, so what you see has no bearing on reality.

 

Who would be the arbiter of “fake news?” All fact checkers are ensconced in liberal enclaves. Interestingly enough fact checkers arose to combat fake news that has turned out to be actual truth months later.
