Am I just not understanding, but I would think our beloved Tigers would be the team that every recruit would die to play for. What is the deal with our not getting the 5 and 4 star guys. Is it the recruiting is lacking or is our talent so deep that these recruits think they cant be a star as a freshman so they want to go elsewhere? I mean, geez, it should be that way with all big name programs, you have to wait your turn, get some experience, etc. Please explain the problem to me.

Then I would think that makes you a homer.

As for five star players, we have two, Florida has 4, Okie and ND 3; we aren't THAT far off and 3 is GREAT sigining class for us. We have 10 four star players, Florida has 13, Okie 11 and ND 15.

We were VERY close to getting two more and one came down to an academic issue. Miles almost pulled off the class of all classes but his solid recruiting is on par with any other program and it ain't ova yet, so relax. :)

LSU redshirted 17 players last year from a top-rated class. We're incredibly deep at most positions. Immediate playing time is not going to be a great selling point for us.

That being said, our class is on par with every other school out there this year.

I think CParso would also agree that maybe rivals didn't do a great job in evaluating LA talent, and that this class is better than what the recruiting services have us pegged to be.

He'd better since even rivals has admitted to that.

    I'm on a borrowed laptop...with an aircard...so I'm a little limited. Therefore, I won't provide a link...but Rivals is now saying TP WILL announce on signing day...soooo...

There's no maybe about it. When one of the scouts went to the state championship game, he was very impressed with the talent he saw.

Then you add guys like Alex Hurst & Cordian Hagans who are basically 3 stars by default because no scout has been out to see them & there's no film on them.

I won't complain about a top 10 class, and especially not when I feel that our class as a whole has been poorly rated. Rivals typically doesn't do a great job with Louisiana, but this year was by far their worst performance evaluating the state.

I'm not sure what this is in reference to, but they are only "jorts" when white people wear them.

It is acceptable for black guys.
