:geaux::crystal::helmet: Seemed like we were getting players from Curtis just a few years ago. What happened? Did Saban piss JT off or does he just not like Miles for some reason? Seems like the same deal as when Dennis Dunn was at Evangel. But even if the coach works to steer his players away from LSU, can they all be that stupid or gullible to believe it? I mean, can't they see what LSU is all about for themselves? LSU was only on national TV about 10 times this year alone and I'm sure they read the sports page. Am I missing something? :geauxtige:champs::LSU231::tigereye::crystal::crystal:
:geaux::crystal::geauxtige:bball::lsup:LSU!:geaux::crystal::helmet::geauxtige JT just doesn't like LSU. :tigereye::geaux::crystal::geauxtige:champs::tigbas::miles::milesmic::bball::tigereye: :hihi::hihi:
I can't think of anyone we missed out on from John Curtis other than Joe McKnight. Carnell Stewart, Jason Spadoni, and Chris Jackson all came from Curtis, but who else from there were we after that didn't come here? I really don't think JT Curtis steers players away from LSU. It's more just a case them not having anyone we were particularly hard after in recent years. They have a great program there, with good well conditioned well coached players at every position and a lot of depth, and they generally wear down opponents. PJ Smith and Green were their top two players this year and I'm not sure if we recruited them very hard or if they were extended offers. It didn't seem that we were that high on them allthough they are both good players. Again you just can't take them all, you only have 25 schollies to hand out.
LSU officially out of the running for Pryor. "After seeing LSU suddenly enter the picture in the past few weeks for the quarterback out of Jeannette, Pa., the Tigers are now out of the running for the nation's top prospect according to head coach Ray Reitz."
Trickle-down effect from CUMs stupidity? Someone on another board suggested that TP was affected by PJ's situation. PJ isn't wavering, is he?
PJ is 1000 percent LSU. No worries. I don't think this has anything to do with PJ. It has all to do with LSU just being too little too late, and the fact that he has so much going on basketball wise that he just can't seem to squeeze us in for a trip. I think Pryor doesn't want to make it any more complicated than it already is between OSU and Michigan.
Whichever way he decides to go between OSU and UM, I'm sure he'll enjoy losing national championship games for years to come.
