How about what he did at the end of the game? Nothing could make any of us feel better than to watch as they showed all of the seniors out on the field for the ninth inning. Add in Coleman on the mount. Simply amazing stuff! Not only that, but having Ranaudo come out for one more battter in the sixth inning. Letting him get the clutch out then having him walk off to a standing ovation. CPM has some incredible people skills.

we were semi-joking before the bottom of 9th that he should let buzzy get the first out before bringing in Ott. he swaps out everyone which never happens in a baseball game of that magnitude. also, i figured coleman would just pitch to one batter. still shocked ott didnt close it out. the ranaudo thing was somewhat predictable. figured he would pitch to the righty then give way to chad jones against the two lefties. he wasnt really doing that as a favor to ranaudo but it worked out well for him. and us.
that was probably the most heart warming championship celebration i have ever seen, Mainieri and his family deserve this, what a classy guy. Who wouldn't want to play for this guy? Lets just hope it continues, and Paul stays for a long long time. Congrats CPM and our Tiger Baseball Team, you guys deserve it!
