    Ok guys.........
Everybody KNOWS the situation with coaching in Baton Rouge. You MUST win. Period.
So,,,,you got Perilloux, a semi-proven stater at QB. You got a tremendous team behind him and a helluva shot at being in the HUNT. Perrilloux turns out to be a turd. But man,,,,,he's got a helluva arm. He's the best you got at QB. You got 2 freshman behind him with a little potiental. Whatcha gonna do now? You gonna man up or go with the best thing you got in a turd?

Well, Miles has (in my humble opinion) man'ed up. He's the leader of this team and has done the right thing. We'll play! And I think we'll win. After last year and the amazing comeback, I'm throwing my cards in with Miles.

I'm looking forward to a HELLUVA season.

    And I still Hate USC.

Jarrett Lee has a little potential? He has great potential. Just no experience, that's all. But that will come.

he puts the cheer in my morning cheerios.

I just think he gave the kid every shot to correct himself. When it finally reached a point where he saw the kid did not want to change, he did the proper thing and severed the link.

Absolutely did the right thing. Sucks, believe me, i know, but some kids need serious wake up calls, and hopefully CLM has gotten his point through so that RP hopefully doesn't fall as far as some others have (Clarrett).

I'm not surprised to see Les Miles show the kinda class he has, by putting the team first, and by team, i mean the rest of the kids showing up and working hard every day, as opposed to team preseason rankings and etc.,

Yes, once again, Les Miles manned-up, and before that, he gave RP every chance on earth to correct his actions.

In the end, he didn't, and Miles let him go. I'm sure it was (and is) gut-wrenching for our coach, but now, Lee and Hatch (and Jefferson) can give it their best shots--with Russell Shepherd waiting in the wings for '09 or '10. The future is bright.
