I’ve never called the Democrats and left anything but what they are; power hungry leftists who are more interested in self aggrandizement than the country.
As to living in the 18th century get over yourself. Are you a man of faith? If so you hold on to principles that are thousands of years old. I believe the foundation laid by the constitution is a vital and valid today as it was then. I know we can still have the government of, for and by the people as laid out 240 years ago.
It’s worth fighting for.

 

I'm a realist.

 

By giving it to the idea that only a strong president can fix things and should bypass congress, the court and the constitution you lay the ground for dictatorship. That dictator could be Kamala Harris or an AOC type as easily as a conservative. Truly it won’t matter because either will strip our rights away.
Finally if you can’t win the battle of ideas you lose no matter how right you are.

You should give reality a shot. You are reaching conclusions that are totally off base. You make assumptions that are false. Stick to the facts.

 

I am not talking about moderation. I’m talking about fighting for ideas and winning. I also believe that if you can’t hold your side to the same standards you demand of others you’re a hypocrite and deserve to lose.
