Seems like we hear this darn near every year, but after everything shakes out the SEC is still standing tall over all of the other conferences.
Looking at the rankings I feel pretty good about our standing. I predict we'll play FSU for the championship
If we can't play for it all this year I would also love a crack at the following teams. 1. Ohio State - nothing other than my wife bringing home Adriana Lima and Rosario Dawson would please me more than watching that scum bag Meyer squirm. 2. Clemson - we owe them, and it sucks they basically use that win to bolster their standings. 3. OU - see number 1.
I already have Ohio State penciled in with one of the spots in the BCS title game, only due to their weak weak weak weak schedule. Laughable weak. So if you want a rematch, you're going to get it. Oregon is the next team I have going 14-0, but they have many roadblocks to get past (namely Stanford, Oregon State and UCLA).
Here's my question, how is Ohio State's schedule not a liability but Louisville's is? I mean I know OSU may play 3 ranked teams this year, Wisconsin, Northwestern, hell Michigan prob won't be ranked by then, if FSU or Clemson is undefeated at the end of the year, how does that team not jump OSU?
They do, and I'd still argue that a one-loss LSU team would, as well. The SEC is the only conference that would be able to have a one-loss team jump an undefeated team with a weak schedule. When the BCS comes out, I think Ohio State will take a hit like Louisville will (and already has.)
