I don't blame you 1 bit man. I'm in posi mode. Can't help but think having an actual OC as compared to a OLcoach playing OC is gonna be a big plus and improvement.
Getting Stud back on the sidelines where OL coaches belong and not having to wear the OC hat, should pay huge dividends to the line.
http://theadvocate.com/sports/5967898-123/chavis-is-confident-about-lsu Chief says " the defense will be as good as anybody in the nation" this season.
That's not what he said. From the article you linked, “I think the first 11 we put on the field will be as good as any in the country,” Chavis said. “The thing we’ve got to do is build that depth.” Depth is what has made LSU's defenses of prior seasons as good or better than anybody in the nation. I agree with Chavis' assessment of the starters and have no doubt in his ability to develop the depth that LSU has become known for.
They'll get depth by September. 2011 we had a young team also. Defense has always been our strong point. Hopefully offense will be as good as advertised. That will give defense some breathing time.
I read that as well this morning and it fires me the "F" up! Love his quiet, low key, minimizing tone when he's interviewed.....then his defense goes on the field and rips someone's eyes out! LOVE IT! Geaux Chief!
Tips their heads off. Shits down their necks. Replaces their head gives them a bag of oranges and says have a nice day.
All I know for sure is that I sure am excited about the 2013 edition of the LSU Fighting Tigers football team. Hope springs eternal... Even for us old Saint's fans.
That's a chickenshit Takeo Spikes/Florida tactic. Chavis's boys go straight for the heart, sometimes there is incidental damage to the lungs and other internal organs.
