No, I don't think they did enough tonight vs South Carolina. A 35-0 shellacking, sure. I do think the first place votes will be much closer. I have it as: Florida (40) Alabama (18) Texas (1) I think Texas stubbed their toe today with a lackluster performance against a team who didn't have their starting QB. They should have won by 2 TDs. Look for Bama to possibly take over as the highest computer ranking average. It will be close between them and Florida.
Texas looked really bad today, Florida looked very human, Alabama looked like they were just toying with South Carolina, and kept them in the game with stupid turnovers. If i had a vote i would vote 1. Bama 2. UF 3. Texas and that is solely based on what i have seen this season, has nothing to do with last season. Bama still has quaterback inconsistencies, but Mark Ingram is a beast and would also get my vote for Heisman right now. Man it really hurt to type that.
And hopefully Notre Dame, but you never know. Can a 25th ranked team lose and stay ranked? Only Notre Dame, I guess.
Yes I agree with your ranking. Alabama is the best team in the nation right now. Florida still has Tebow, however.
I have a feeling that the SEC championship game is going to be the real national title game. but i guess it is every year.
Very possible, but I thought we had enough cushion to keep ahead of them. Also, Miami being between Iowa and LSU probably prevents that from happening. Iowa's win today was pedestrian for the most part.
