    That's why the Sec champ should be in automatically & the runner up given a little extra consideration no matter their record. Going 6-2 in the west would be like going 8-0 in the Big 14.

    I am in total agreement with you on this.

    So if an unbeaten Georgia loses to a 1 loss LSU in the SEC CG, both teams should be in the playoffs.

    Taking it a step further, if a 1 loss Auburn lost to a 1 loss SEC Champ Alabama, both Alabama and Auburn should be in the playoffs.
