I know that's the reasoning, but honestly, I am thoroughly unimpressed with Wisconsin. They are like a less talented carbon copy of those especially mediocre Miles teams. They'll go 9-3 and be competitive their bowl. They mainly got a lot of hype because the B1G and SEC are the two media darlings/they didn't let off the gas against their rent a wins. Yeah, there's a lot of hype around Justin Fields and I really don't see it. I see a lot of him throwing to wide open receivers. His stats are so good because for the most part OSU has played the little sisters of the poor.
Sorry. I could have worded it better. I’d rather be the 1 playing the 4 than the 2 playing the 3. If we had a choice and if no rematch given to BAMA.
Good read on reasoning behind this week's rankings: https://wwl.radio.com/blogs/wwl-new...t&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=lsu+no+2-why?
Clearly, both teams have 3 wins over top 19 teams. In terms of "complete" however, I suspect Mullens is making reference to defense as well as offense. In those 3 wins, LSU has given up a total of 89 points. Ohio State has given up 24. That tends to stand out. Happy Thanksgiving y'all.
