Nothing would convince me that they are the 8th best team in the country this year after watching throughout the year. I understand the polls will do what they do.
Of course, the Oregonians have been demanding a rematch since 2 days after they lost to us. More and more, but not all, of them are starting to feel entitled to this outcome. I hope Stanford stuffs them. Heck, maybe USC will somehow surprise them. Oregon fan is obnoxious. They hate Californians and want them all to go back, yet their team is 75% or more from California. Whatever...I'm not a fan.
I agree. I believe they are hoping for a blowout this saturday between LSU/Bama so they can drop the loser way down.
Although Craig James of all people has already publicly stated that if the LSU/Bama game is close, he is going to ignore the conference affiliation for the loser of the game. Meaning he would push for a rematch if these are simply the 2 best teams in the nation at season's end.
Notes of interest in the voting: All Coaches have LSU and Alabama #1 and #2 in their polls. There are as many as 6 Harris Poll voters who have Alabama #3 on their ballot, even though only 1 first place vote has been cast for someone other than LSU or Bama. LSU is either #1 or #2 on each Harris Poll ballot.
