If Oregon were down to the 10, let's say, I would have no issues doing what he did. They were gassed on the D-line, you don't want them to bring in fresh troops, I get all that. But it was the 30 yard line. Way too far away to let the clock keep running. You needed to get 7 and end the game. I wasn't aware of your kicker situation, so that tells me it was all that much more important to, at a minimum, get as close to the endzone as possible. All these factors combined, call the bloody timeout for God's sake.
