Are you serious? Most teams enforce in house discipline to reduce the risk. Other's don't. Guess which category LSU falls into?
My previous post. Losing Dave Arranda, Jorge Munoz and Joe Brady along with 34 players to NFL and 3 opt outs. This team has been gutted during a pandemic in which college football has never seen not to mention coming off of a national championship. I’m not saying Coach O doesn’t need to be held accountable but what do you suppose they do?
Well Albert, how about a new coaching staff. Don't worry. With the ridiculous salary increase they gave O they can't afford to fire him.
No they can’t afford a buyout now. No fans = no $ from tickets, concessions, and reduced licensing fees. Normally the money from football supports the non-revenue sports and kicks back money to the academics. That won’t happen this year. Even with TV money the athletic department will probably be in the hole. Like it or not, Oeaux will be our coach this year, next year, and probably the 2022 season. No program is going to ditch a coach who just led an undefeated team to a national championship after only 1 or 2 years.
Most top tier programs would ditch a coach who appears to have lost control of the team. But as I wrote earlier LSU can't because of the ridiculous contract buyout.
