Probe alleges Les Miles paid off to make sexual harassment go away

Elmer got the LSU gig because he fit the suit. The Evil Dwarf hauled off on Christmas Day to boot and the program needed a quick fix - and even better was he appeared to be low maintenance as opposed to Nick having become a diva asshole. LSU got a little guilty of ‘Hell anybody can do this’ and for a few seasons Elmer had us believing that was true .
After the 21-0 Bama enema Elmer was toast . We all knew it then .

 

The saving grace of all this shanda is all the primary players are now gone . It’s fortunately able to be veiled in the past tense so that should eliminate the alleged victims sitting on tv crying their eyes out while LSU becomes known as Harass U .

The really sad part of this for me was that from 2005 to 2011, I thought that Miles was a great head coach for LSU. His guidance of the team in 2005 (his 1st yr) was outstanding during the Katrina situation. He let the team be a part of the recovery effort. I can't imagine a control freak like Saban doing the same. The incidents cited in the report happened in 2012 & 2013. So yes I agree with you that the loss to Alabama in Jan 2012 was the beginning if his downward spiral.

 

Miles is as much of a control freak as Saban. He is just not as good at it.
