I am also not happy that Merriman would get the nod but Hollis Thomas would not, being that both will end up serving a 4 game suspension for steroids. Hollis Thomas was better than Jenkins for Carolina. Tommy Harris is out for the year. I hope Thomas gets to be the replacement.
Yes I agree with this also. Strong gets in on reputation. He's a great FB, but Karney's year was better.
Honestly, I think we'll see Karney's name up there over the next few years. The secret is out on him - not only for his versatility (somewhat quick out of the back field for a big guy) but also his blocking. Thank God we had the presence of mind to ink him to a new deal this past offseason.
