Seated. And some white toward black animosity exists everywhere. It's not a southern thing. I'll agree it's deep seated, however it's turning around with each new generation.
sweet, you have given me an excuse to explore one of my favorite topics again. i am not racist in the conventional sense. i love all races. i have chosen to live in the most diverse place on earth, and i love it. i favor open immigration, precisely because i want more and more of all sorts of everyone to come and join me, because i like everyone. i do acknowledge that all people are not equal at every skill, so in that sense i am racist. races are effectively like large families. and families are similar genetically. genes actually mean something, even if we pretend they do not. the child of steffi graf and andre agassi has a damn good shot at being a good athlete, and not just because they will nurture him that way. genes are real and they exist. and families have them, and people are different, and races are not identical. and that means they are actually good or bad at various things. so acknowledging the reality of genetics and race makes me racist. this is verboten because in the past people have been really terrible and justified harsh treatment of people with racism. i would never do that. i think everyone deserves a fair chance. like i said, i want everyone to have a chance to move to america, where we are free(ish), and anyone can succeed. accusing someone of racism, this is the first tactic on the list of cheap shots. but you wont get anywhere using it on me. i dont give a damn. i blame white folks for telling you that you should care about racism and play the victim as much as possible. i apologize on behalf of whites. now forget about racism and do your thing.
So it's OK to dislike Obama as Presdident? Can I go public with these feelings? I've already outed my disgust for Pelosi but no one has labeled me for that.
I have probably explained it to you a dozen times, but it was the black inner city communities that stood up and demanded strong laws against crack. They were petrified by the crack associated violence.
