http://mobile17.smashsworld.com/ This is a website that allows you to take MP3's off your computer, decide where you want it to start and stop, and it will turn it into a ringtone and send it to your phone in a text message. I did this using my MP3 version of Pregame and I now have it as a ringtone. It's a free service (asks for donations, though) and it works great. I've uploaded two songs to my phone. It's safe, it won't mess up your phone or anything. Hope this helps! Edit: Oh yeah, and it works for any phone, it seems...unless you're still using the Zack Morris phone.
The search feature is really underrated.... http://www.tigerforums.com/showpost.php?p=807985&postcount=11
Those, unfortunately, will not work with the iPhone. I did spend the outrageous sum of $ .99 to create one ringtone for my iPhone, however. Feel free to share/spread around it. I would appreciate hearing from anyone else with LSU iPhone ringtones to share (.m4r format)... http://members.cox.net/lsufan71/sounds/01 Chinese Bandits.m4r
If you have Bluetooth, on most phones you can send an mp3 to your phone and set it as a ringtone. For iPhones, there are ways around the $.99 create-a-ringtone thing. Here is one such way: http://www.ehow.com/how_2160460_custom-iphone-ringtones-free.html There are also programs (some free, some cost money) that will create iPhone ringtones automatically. When I get home I will try to remember to find some LSU ringtone files I've made.
