    I would have gathered Herman. We will never know if he could have been had. We just know Joe pulled out a little early. Numerous others could have been vetted had a professional search been done and at the end if ed was the best out there then so be it but I think otherwise.

    Possibly, but Alleva could have still had Orgeron. In the end Texas ended up getting a damn discount. Herman is getting paid less than what LSU supposedly offered. Why not string it out and make Texas pay more, if you win the bid you win Herman, if you lose the bid Texas has to ante the fuck up and you still have your fallback plan.
