Here's the unknown wild card: Does the team show up? National Championship - gone, SEC Championship - gone, BCS - gone. The next two games are for a return trip to Dallas. I certainly hope they play hard for the remainder of the season and whatever bowl they get.
It's not unknown. It comes down to who has something to play for. We do not. We lose for this reason alone. Stay with me fellas and yaysayers.
So you believe that the players think like many of the fans and that the season is basically over. I disagree and believe the team will be up to face aTm and their Heisman QB. I also think the players for the most part have a lot of pride and want to win everytime they step on the field, I believe most of the players in cfb feel that way. Of not then most of the teams in the country would just be playing out the season after the first two or three weeks.
Each situation is different. Lsu had expectations yet none can be met. Their season is done except for pride. Not much pride on this team. Did anyone help mett up after he got his ass stomped in the dirt. Nope. No leadership to speak of equals a team that doesn't quite get it. If they prove me wrong I'll be surprised. But I've been right thus far. They quit in the 2nd half vs bama and that's not a good sign of things to come.
