As bad as LSU's defense is this year, it is still considered average. aTm on the other hand has no defense, hasn't had one all year.
    LSU 34 - aTm 28

10 points. Here's some crow for you to eat...

In all fairness to @StaceyO, I don't think anyone saw that coming; especially considering the issues the defense has had this year.

At least you are a good sport about it. There are too many others who will still complain about winning by only 24 points and securing Les Miles position as Head Coach for another year.

Well I could not have been more off on my score but I did pick the Tigers to win and they did rush for 324 yards tonight. I was so proud to see the Defense man up and play with pride today. Nice win Tigers!

That was just a text book strategy on both sides of the ball, on how to beat a high octane spread attack. On offense, we gutted them with the run and possessed the ball for twice as long as they had it, so their offense was never on the field and their defense was worn down.

On defense, our DEs never let Manziel break contain to the outside. They flushed him to the middle of the field, where additional help was available. And, with the exception of a handful of plays, we never blitzed. Always had at least 8 in coverage and continued rotating players in and out. It also helped that our secondary had their best game of the year, as well.
