What I meant was, I'll be watching, but won't be at the game. On TV, and on the official tigerfan game thread.
No matter what I've posted I know I will watch it all. For one thing, if I don't Dad won't talk to me for the rest of eternity when I see him again. But I'm going to look at it as the preseason game for next year, not the last game of this year. Because a lot of this years team that mattered won't be there.
I know the optics don't look very good, but I'm hoping the younger players really use the game as an opportunity to prove they belong on the field next year. We have talent, unfortunately, it's really young, unproven talent. I feel an upset coming our way!
I would love to see one of the walk-ons because we need Kirklin out there running routes. We don't need another Burrow, but someone who can just hit a pass here and there, just to keep the defense from playing 8 in the box, which is almost impossible to run on. Some of these walk-ons are very talented and a lot better than most people think. They may be an inch short or not have the arm strength compared to the top guys, but they are more than capable of filling in for just one game!
I just looked at the line & we're a 7 point favorite. I think the players will give a little to do everthing possible for Ed & the staff to go out with a W.
