If I had to guess what the polls will come out with, it will be:

    1) LSU
    2) USC (new QB, lots of juniors leaving early)
    3) Georgia
    4) Oklahoma (great QB, only will get better)
    5) Florida (defense will still be a problem)

and it matches my top 5

I thought about Ohio State, but this loss hurts them big time in the preseason rankings for 08. I think they will end up anywhere from 6-8.

Good post. Uga and FU look primed to fight it out in the East. If we can win our division and get to the SECCG, anything can happen! :thumb:

I think we will be one of the top five teams next year.
The schedule is tougher but we could possibly be better next season.

the preseason top 5 is mostly a joke... they will ALWAYS put USC at #1... UGA/LSU should be in there, but might not be, and I'm sure they'll find a way for OSU and Michigan to finish it up.

We lost alot of talent.. we do have tons coming back.

USC lovefest earns them a #1 spot but everyone expects that. They're losing alot of starters.. but with them it doesn't matter.

EDIT: I picked the top 3 correct with rivals at least. :] Subject to change with players heading to the draft early.

Perilloux was impressive at times. I'm sure you guys will start off well in the polls. Top 10 probably at the least. I can't see em not letting you guys in high in the polls, somewhere.

Who is favored to win the SEC West next year? You guys? That is a key part too.

The SEC West has been running through LSU the past couple of seasons and I don't see that changing any time soon...Ole Miss should improve a little with Houston Nutt...MSU is still at least two years minimum in order to compete with LSU...Arky has Petrino ('nuff said), Bama is Bama, and Auburn seems to be in crisis after Tubby was looking at other places, fired his OC and his DC left a couple of days after saying he was gonna stay at Auburn.

It's between auburn and us. Auburn was young this year.. and they'll be running a new offense/defense.

Going to be a tricky game.

EDIT: Auburn has the athletes to have a top 5 defense next season. Their offense can only get better..

If LSU, UGA or UF played in the Pac 10, we'd be picked #1 next year. I don't blame voters for not wanting to put an SEC team at the top spot. How can you expect any of these top 5 caliber teams to go undefeated when we all play each plus the rest of the ridiculously tough SEC?
