You keep saying this, but never back it up. What data do you have that supports bringing jobs back here will mean better business?
Just think about it for a minute… The regulatory system in the country is a fucking mess along with the tax system. If our politicians created a system that was good for these so called “lost American” jobs, then they are responsible for them leaving. They obviously make more money “overseas” than they would here. It is not their fault for maximizing profits. In business, that is all that matters. What you are saying is that you would like to bring us back to some type of Nationalistic state. Vote for your guy if you want that. nationalism, political or social philosophy in which the welfare of the nation-state as an entity is considered paramount. Nationalism is basically a collective state of mind or consciousness in which people believe their primary duty and loyalty is to the nation-state. This is what you have told me thus far..
It seems to me, the only solution you have is tax more, rather than fix the real problem. Policy...... Need I continue? This is why myself and most every conservative is 100% against new taxes, FOR ANYONE, with out REAL REFORM.....
because the Republicans handed out tax cuts in 2001 and 2003 that we can no longer afford. now answer my question.
Answer my question genuis: Why give tax breaks to the "job creators" just so they can ship them overseas? Guys like you are so hell bent that we cannot tax the wealthy because they are the so called "job creators," yet they continue to ship jobs overseas. You cannot have it both ways, hoss. Are they the "job creators" or not? If so, then why are they shipping all our jobs overseas? If that is the way you want it then why not skip them and just send the money straight to some other country. If they are not the "job creators" then your side has been lying all along. Which is it?
Quit trying to sliver out of it and answer my question: why continue giving tax breaks to wealthy people just so they can move their factories overseas? are the rich "job creators" or not? if yes, then why are they shipping their factories and assets overseas? if no, then why should they get a special tax break? you can try all you want to weasel out of answering me by defining nationalism but the "real problem," as you call it, is the situation I just described: giving tax breaks to the wealthy under the auspices of them using those tax breaks to create more jobs when in reality they are just pocketing the money and moving their factories overseas. Don't believe me? watch "shark tank" one friday night. every one of those people are getting tax breaks for being "job creators," yet the first thing they ask any potential business partner is, "are you willing to move your operations to china?" or "we could produce that in china...." p.s. should I take you seriously today when you call yourself a conservative or would that be taking you too literally again?
Because your question is misguided and full of holes. You are correlating taxes to jobs going overseas. Taxes are not the root of the issue as much as you would like them to be. Though if you have proof of this, please provide some examples of this. It seems as if you want to punish them for simply making smart business decisions. By all means, if you truly think that we should: A) raise taxes on the rich while 50% of the country pays zero income tax B) raise taxes without budget reform C) raise taxes without fixing a broken tax system Go for it, but understand you have fixed nothing and haven't even attempted to understand the problem. Again I tell you, raising taxes WILL NOT BRING JOBS BACK....
