Do you think the banks holding all this cash just keep it in Scrooge McDuck's Money Bin? You think it may be possible that they loan some of it out? Maybe to small businesses. Yunno, which leads to job creation.

You have some arcane notion that wealth is this finite thing. Just because the very rich are getting way very richer does not mean the middle class cannot get richer as well.

yes. and they swim in it every night. and when they go home they even guard the first penny they ever made. Fact: Tax rates are lower for the uber rich and "job creators" than they have ever been. Fact: They are not creating jobs.

As far as health care, this plan is garbage. It's a republican plan. I mean what's next, is Obama going to drill in national parks, repeal roe v wade, repeal segregation, end medicare, and social security, and people on the left are going to cheer because he did it, and Republicans are going to contest it because he did it?

This is just like the gas situation, it's drug dealing 101. You start out with a great product, at a low price, then you get your custumers hooked, then you quadrouple the price, then, you drop the price 50% of that, and your customers are thankful for the drop in prices, but what you actually did, is make a bunch of money by the eventual doubling of your product price, and your customers are happy that they prices aren't quadroupled. That's what they do with gas, and I believe that is what the GOP is doing. They act like their own policies are bad, and when they get passed, their opposition is happy, but they act mad, but giggle in a smokey room.

lower corporate taxes will bring jobs back. don't make a company hire union and they will come back also. it's not just a global competition for products. it's a global competition for jobs. companies have to do what's best for their investors.making them pay higher taxes just pushes them away even more, making them hire some guy that has to be paid $30 an hour plus benefits when he's only worth $10 is also gonna push them further. the free market does a better job at bvalancing its self out than a bunch of dipshits in washington.

You don't think that the middle class was in better shape in the 50's and that this country was in better shape economically?

What do you offer to suggest that this is true? That is just the industry lobbyists talking points. Do you really think they are going to close Chinese and Mexican factories and move them back to Ohio and Pennsylvania. You're dreaming, amigo.

Corporations are paying the lowest taxes they have ever paid, so why haven't they hired anybody? They are also enjoying huge tax credits, tax deferrals, interest deductions, exclusions, depreciations allowances, and other tax breaks that reduce the taxes immensely, so that General Electric pays no US taxes whatsoever. Exxon, the most profitable corporation in history, who has recently enjoyed the most profitable quarters it has ever posted, actually receives billions of tax dollars in subsidies! This is corprate welfare at its worst. I thought you were against welfare for people who don't need it or deserve it.

Can you give me an real instance where a $10/hour guy can replace a skilled worker making $30? It's going to be hard.

Take the auto industry. The average union US auto worker makes about $28/hour. The non-union Toyota and Honda auto workers in American plans makes about $24/hour. Four bucks. And neither company is the least bit interested in unskilled $10/hour workers.

Dude, . . . It's a penalty tax! Just like the penalty taxes you must pay for failing to pay your income taxes.
