Here is ESPN's take.....check out the video interview on PP at the end. Is Patrick Peterson worth No. 1 pick? - NFC South Blog - ESPN
Hard to pick a corner when you have the #1 overall pick. Usually more pressing needs. Still, I think he'll be one of the, if not the best player in this draft.
Is Patrick Peterson worth No. 1 pick?--espn i dont know much about the draft board but i know i would never take gabbert as the #1 overall pick. Ive seen that guy play a good bit. good but not overly impressive. is he even a poor mans hasselbeck. edited: im a day late posting the blog article.
I posted this in another thread that shane started on the other board, the Pro Sports one, but it seems that the NFLPA is trying to get the rookies to boycott the draft. How is this going to effect the new rookies?
I don't know if I want him being the #1 pick. Way too much pressure and criticism comes with it. I wanna see him go to Denver and have a chance to succeed as a player and a team.
Denver also needs help at a # of positions. DL, ILB and a few more, but CB is one of need. I too would like to see him at Denver.
IMO, if you're team has the number 1 pick, you needs are damn good players PERIOD... PP is such a player and I'm not saying that b/c he played here at LSU...
