He hasn't played a complete game yet. He cramps every game. Gotta hydrate him until he has to pee at the end of every quarter.
It was reported last summer as 2010 rule changes . . . but this article New NCAA rule: High-stepping, taunting will cost teams points Says that it doesn't go into effect until 2011.
I think it was simply something of a glitch to be honest. Our special teams play has typically been outstanding--especially our coverage teams. What we have to understand is that reasons behind our success (or one of) is that we have good team speed. Florida is a team that has just as much as we do, so it shouldn't be THAT much of a surprise if they break one loose for a TD like they did. Just like we take advantage of an opponent that is just remotely out of position, we explode through for a long gain. That's what happened to us. As for PP's fumble. Well, that's the mistake I've worried about from him. I've seen him field a ball that fundamentally should be left alone (i.e. inside your 10 or inside your 20 with the coverage team bearing down) or fair caught. PP's a dynamic player but sometimes he needs to reel himself in; needs to understand that against some competition, he can't always go 90 yards for the score. Having said that, I think his fumble was more of him taking his eye off the ball for a split second than it was him trying to do anything else...but he should have signaled a fair catch.
