With the stable of fine RB'S we have at LSU and two great TE'S.Line them up and run right at them with Ware,Ford,Blue and the shifty Gore. This keeps the pressure off JJ and limits his expectations of throwing the ball. Our line is deep VS. a undersized DUCK line. Runs the clock and keep OREGON'S offense on the side lines. POUND,POUND,POUND all night long.
JJ thowing tooo much gets us in trouble and gives them the ball too many times. Oregon will score, but if we control the running game and keep them under 21 points. WE WIN.:geaux::LSU231:

I've seen a few comments from LSU's coaching staff recently that indicate a "want" to be more aggressive with offensive play calling. While I agree we need to pound the running game against Oregon, I'd prefer letting JJ start the game throwing vertically and then run the ball down their throats in the 2nd half.

Does the pass set up the run; or the run set up the pass?

alright we are up to 5 of the worst football cliches slash predictions already in this thread. may as well keep it going.

We are going to win because our team will want it more and leave it all on the field. playing the full 60 minutes and giving 110%. spencer ware's quick first step will be the difference.

If we run the ball and we stop the run - we win !!!

There is the correct answer. If they stack the box pass, if they play soft run. Show them a little bit of everything and stick with what works.
