I think, as SEC fans, we were a little too far removed from that story to be exposed to complaints. As I recall, the Masoli rule had already been passed by the SEC's administration by the time Russell looked to transfer from NC State. Personally, I know very few fans of B1G teams. Those I do know, if I were to ask if they know who I'm talking about when I mention Cooper they'd likely think Anderson before Ohio State's Cooper.
LSU offers a couple of 4-star..."pocket passers"?!? http://www.nola.com/recruiting/inde...two_out_of_state_fo.html#incart_story_package
I follow some ND as I know a few fans of them as well as I know a few tOSU fans. Then I also follow USC from a distance and they often discuss the Big 10 because of the heated rivalries with several institutions over the course of history. So I feel pretty comfortable saying what I did. I don't however know whether or not some fans or coaches from that conference were bothered by it, but it didn't make enough noise to permeate quite a few of the most popular forums so that speaks, to me, of the lack of clamoring regarding it. LSU is into Haskins as well.. Les and Cam aren't just twiddling their thumbs.
Searching for a QB with "chest" enough to sign along with Feleipe Franks they've wasted no time with Haskins, Guarantano, and now Peters.. Might Peters be the one to redeem his entire state for Gunner Kiel and Tiger Nation?
Glad the guy went to Oregon. Perhaps if the Ohio State kid wants to move (can't remember his name, I wanna say pryor but that's not it), then Oregon may no longer be viable. Make no mistake, one of the OSU qb's will transfer.
