Pot prices are falling dramatically in Colorado. Even with the average price of an ounce now down to $300 you would think there's lots of room for a black market selling at even lower and untaxed prices http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...hat-marijuana-prices-are-crashing-in-colorado
Depends, regular your looking anywhere from 50 to 80 an oz depending on where you are. Good shit will run you normally 60 an 8th 120 a quarter 400 an oz
I don't care much for regular. A long time ago it used to be adequate to good but over the years the quality of reg has gone done as the price has gone up. That's probably why I rarely smoke anymore. If I have to ask myself if I got high it means I didn't. On the rare occasions when I splurge for the good stuff it's $110 for a quarter oz or $400 an oz. Allegedly But the point of this thread is that even where it's legal doesn't necessarily mean that prices will be low. If regular averages $300 per oz in Colorado you know that people are growing an selling on the black market for a lot less for both reg and the good stuff. I don't know for sure but since it's legal I doubt that the narco squads are looking very hard for do-it-yourself entrepreneurs. A person could make a very good income from a small operation growing quality weed for a small exclusive clientele for reasonable prices and not run nearly the risk of getting caught or doing prison time like they would in a state like Louisiana or Texas.
That's because all you New Yorkers are rich. If it was legal in the Big Apple they would put a $200 an ounce tax on it. When I was there a couple of years ago a $5 pack of Marlboros cost $13 because of the taxes.
