What sucks is that as of now I would put my money on two of the rookies who never played in a fantasy league and I assume don't watch football all that much either.
Picked up Ridley, Andre Brown, Leshore, Fitzpatrick, Tynes. Dropped Dalton, Smith, Johnson, Hillis, Hennery. WRs Thomas, Welker, and Wayne have been pretty consistent. Well at least Welker the last 2 games. Non PPR

Got lucky this week with some bad matchups and ended up cruising to 5-0. Next week is a cakewalk as my opponent has like 6 guys on bye week. Then week 7 I may as well forfeit. But overall I'm in good shape for the 1,800 first prize. Daddy needs some new shoes!!
5-1 and 1st place in one league with 14 teams, 4-2 in another and 2nd place, 12 team league. Saints bye week got me the week 6 loss in the first league and contributed to a week 6 loss in my 2nd.
Yeah, i'm 5-1 now. Man, this whole waivers thing is bullshit. I haven't gotten one waiver claim this year and I make them every week. I have now learned how important the strategy of losing the first couple of games is. It is without a doubt, the way to play.
Same here, I hate waivers, I get penalized for being quick to pick someone up, I have learned a trick though, on the Thursday game if a nobody starts putting up points or a starting running back gets injured, you can pick up his backup, or whoever from the 2 teams playing the Thursday night game and he will be added to your roster immediately instead of making a waiver claim. You obviously can't use that player until the following week but it could be worth it especially if a starting running back goes down and his back up is available.
Yeah, that's a good move but that opportunity doesn't come up all the time. I have put in so many waiver claims it's ridiculous. I can't even get a shitty player off of waivers. I'm going to intentionally lose my first two games next year. Load the team up and then make a run. losing one game is well worth picking up a player on waivers.
