thats because the season hasnt started. most feel this way about their teams that are comparable. the difference is coaching. what will les miles do on offense. and the DL is depleted as f. not a good way to begin a war of attrition in the sec.
Over the last few years LSU has been playing down to opponents, but even against better opposition LSU has started slow. That is all on gameplans and focus. Which begins at the top. Which is why I've never bought the excuse of losing so many players. Most schools in the SEC lose a lot as well. The game after game lack of focus and slow starts can't always be attributed to youth. LSU needs to really open things up this year on O and become imaginative. Harris is the player who at least brings more possibilities with the passing attack. Even if he is not great, he sreads the ball better. Better runner as well.
FWIW, Jonathan Williams injured his foot Saturday and is expected to miss a "significant amount of time." Collins is still a hell of a running back though.
Arkansas running back duo ... Williams, leading rusher last year. Collins had 1100 only to trail Williams by 90 yards on the season. The question that'll need to be answered is whether Collins can stay out of Bielema's doghouse. He's spent some time there in his time in Fayetteville.
We're losing to Bama this year. And between Ole Miss, Auburn, Arkansas, A&M and Miss St we'll go 3-2.
Ah, the story keeps evolving . . . Is Harris the starter or not? Did Les prevent that from happening or not?
