No stats listed for Edwards in the box score on lsusports.net but I think Edwards caught 2 passes. I remember one when Mauck threw the ball low and Edwards caught it before the ball could hit the ground for a first down that kept a drive alive. I didn't watch the Cox replay but if you have the game on tape the Commish should make a ruling after further review. Edwards wasn't one of my players this week so I am only asking for a review to preserve the accuracy of the stats. I'm sure I am right unless the play by play guy said Edwards name when somebody else made a catch.
I did have E. Edwards on my team, but I believe zero is correct, unfortunately. I recall him catching one pass - on the third play of the game when it was 3rd and 3 for LSU. This was right before ESPN2 picked up the coverage. The catch would have given the Tigers a first down, but the play was nullified by a holding penalty. I was listening on the radio and seem to recall Hawthorne saying he made a great catch on it. That may be the one that you remember BB. I don't recall him having the ball thrown his way again in the game.
