Iowa historically hasn't done a great job of being a reliable predictor of who ultimately wins a party nomination but at a minimum, we do a decent job of weeding out some of the pretenders (case in point, O'Malley suspends his campaign which we knew he wouldn't last anyway) so I wouldn't characterize our state as not meaning anything or that we don't represent America in what takes place. We certainly don't carry as much weight as other states but if we didn't add value, we wouldn't continue to be the first state!
I don't know if this is true or not, but it's being said Hilary won 6 delegates on a coin toss. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...wins-six-delegates-by-coin-toss-a6848126.html http://www.desmoinesregister.com/st...ts-award-caucus-delegates-coin-flip/79680342/
Wait, She won all fucking 6? The odds against that are 63 to 1. Or did Bernie win some like this too and they're just not saying it
I was at a Republican caucus site which is run differently than the Democratic side but everything I've heard is that there were only 6 instances of a coin flip occurring and yes, Hilary won all 6. I trust they were coins containing both a heads and tails side and/or the coin itself actually flipped in the air but it does seem strange all 6 landed for her... I know there were reports of last minute shady tactics from a couple of the candidates but nobody ever said politics isn't a dirty game.
I've heard 6 flips and have seen videos of the coin flip at different caucus sites...I know it's been reported both ways but in this case I will defer to the video although as we know with replay officials, I don't always trust the video either!!!
Nope apparently it's true....here's a vid of a few typical democratic fat grenades tossing some coin https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ins-at-least-six-iowa-precincts-by-coin-flip/ Nah couldn't be rigged, not at all.....never in a million years. How about Slicky Willy last night, he looked like he was high on acid.
