yep watching the game again right now. announcers said he went to the bathroom. PA guy at the game didn't give us that info last night.
Thats what some people simply don't phathom. It COULD be worse. I keep thinking in the back of my mind that maybe, just maybe there IS a good reason J-Lee isn't getting an opportunity to lead the team. Its probaly alot more complicated than many of us think.
That's the possibility (and good probability) that has me worried. Everything about how this offense is being managed seems like it's designed to buy time for something. It's like Les is waiting for that light bulb to go off in Jefferson's head that will magically transform him into Ryan Mallett, if only he just got one more game under his belt. He surely knows this is a fool's hope by now, so the only rational reason for staying the course is that the alternative is somehow worse.
I've been on that side of the fence. I may not be a smart man, but I know what bad offensive football is. What we have seen from the QB position in the last 3 games is bad offense. MSU game was better than the Vandy game, but last night was bad. Mostly, my problem with JJ right now is his attitude, which was clearly on display for the world to see last night. No composure whatsoever. No leadership whatsoever. JL, for all his faults in 2008, NEVER acted immature like that...at least not where everyone could see. I was embarassed watching JJ throw his tantrum and pout last night. - No, it can't be worse. JJ was a stumbling DB away from a pick 6, and the result was no different anyway. There were dropped INTs last night. I don't give him the blame for the 1st one...that was on TT. But he showed NO composure. He showed NO resolve. He showed NO leadership. He showed NO maturity. - Give me Lee. If Lee doesn't work, give me Shep.
I agree with you 100%. But we are 4-0 and are ranked #10 despite piss poor performance from the QB position. You know as well as I do that Les isn't going to make a change as long as we are unbeaten. Hell I was shocked when he put JL in last night in the 4th quarter. Get used to it. I don't see JJ being benched anytime soon.
In video interview on ESPN's SEC blog, PP said he was getting dizzy when he looked up, and that's why 2 was fielding punts. :geaux:
Well, if he can't get the offense rolling and soon we will not be unbeaten after the Florida game.:nope:
