I'm super excited over this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arlington, here I come--since it's only 40 miles away.
im already checking into getting my name in for tix (assuming it will be treated like an away game) along with season tix next year!
As cool as it would be to play a game in DFW I just don't like neutral site games. It takes the whole college atmosphere out of it. Tailgating in a parking lot in Arlington, TX is not what college football is all about. I was excited when they setup that home and home with TCU but looks like that got cancelled.
I do agree with this to an extent, but it appears that the trend is starting the season in high-profile games in high-profile stadiums. With that being the case, I'm happy we're doing this in back-to-back years, and I'm especially happy that next year, it's in the Metroplex.
Forget USC, play the Huskies again! The Huskies beat USC last year and will again this year... you watch. It is Jake Locker time, (Tebow of the West) When Jake leaves for the NFL next year, they have Joe Montana's kid, Nick in the wings waiting. He will be like his Daddy was for ND and SF. In the Spring game, I watched Nick take the Huskies second-string team 80 yards with less than two minutes for the winning touchdown with no time left on the clock. Very rare when the second team beats the first team. He is gonna be a good one.
