We all know we have a great need for a qualified DC, these names have popped up in discussion: Chavis, English, Robinson, Orgeron, Rhoads, Nix, Norton Jr, Chizik, but who in your opinions will bring LSU back to their dominate, lights out, smash mouth football that the NCAA has feared for the last 5 years?
I can live with the D giving up a few penalties like when Steltz and others got nailed for a few late hits... they were fired up and played with a ton of passion, but most importantly they weren't giving up 40+ yard game losing drives and got penetration in all phases of the opposing Os.
    Who's on yalls wish list?

    A lot names floating around.

Wondering out of all those, which are the most realistic?

well i wouldn't think ogeron or norton would be a possiblility. chizik either unless he's fired.

    i really don't like robinson.

i kinda like chavis but have questions about his ablilities against the spread.

i like rhoades and also koennig.

edit: on second thought i doubt english's ability to adjust to the SEC

Well maybe someone forgot to put it out, but if changes aren't made we're in for a very long year next season, and then we might see some of this talent pool dry up causing us other serious problems.

I agree. Please don't let these two coaches become our Jason David!

Changes will be made and Mallory will be the sole Defensive Coordinator. And i dont even want to think about what will happen next season on Defense.

    Will Muschamp.

Unfortunately, unless we're willing to give him $5 million per year and offer him the HC/DC position, he'll be staying right where he is to become HC at Texas when Mack retires.
