    Not counting the throwaway inaugural season by Pop (as opposed to Phil who took over an excellent Bulls team, so it's only fair):

    Pop = 1005-422 = .704275
    Phil = 1155-485 = .704268

    This is up to the minute with the win today by the Spurs.

    Postseason Record:

    Jackson: 229-104 (.688), 11 Championships, 13 Finals appearances

    Popovich: 149-90 (.623), 5 Championships, 6 Finals appearances

    stats are cool and all though id probably take pop over phil. but each guy has their own niche and found the right places for them as well. phil with the superstar player(s) and pop with anything but. their coaching styles fit their respective cities just perfectly.

    I hear ya and if I had to pick I'd agree. Tirk is right though, if you compare rosters it's not close in terms of talent.
