Other than the stupid picture, what, exactly, did you have a problem with? Granted, we could do w/o the Saban reference, but to other readers (outside of LSU fans) it would be of interest. The author basically says the same things that get said here all the time. I think it was pretty danged accurate. There are many here who think his prediction of us going 9-3 would be generous.

I was gonna get mad, but apparently he read most of my posts, because his post here makes about as much sense as most of my posts. By the way, he's the one I brought to some of the TeamKatt tailgates...pretty good kid whose favorite colors are purple and gold...black and gold, etc.
I agree with the ranking, and I think the article was an OK assessment. I have a problem with the idiotic picture. I know he's caught the ball enough to get photographed doing it. The bias would be a little less obvious that way, but I guess if the only thing you could do to show we're idiots is find a stupid picture then things aren't too terribly bad.
It's not that the content was bad, just the 2 thign's that I pointed out just give me a bad taste when reading it. Unprofessional you could say.
Was thinking the same thing when I saw the rankings come out. You're right, it does fit us. We were near the bottom of D-I offense and because of an inept offense, I think it led to a stressed, over-utilized defense. We lost our best lineman in a group that was out-right awful...lost our top 2 RB's and have a lot of unknowns back there. And we still have a QB that has major question marks... Do I think we have talented players? You bet! They're just unproven. Sept 4th will be a huge test for us. I believe UNC mirrors us at this point--and I would give the edge to them on defense for sure.
