Isn't there a lot of truth to the saying " Looks can be deceiving" ?

Miles just wants to win. He isn't locked into any one style or system.

Saban wants to win with his system. His ego won't allow his to make the necessary adjustments. If his teams is losing he blames the players, it couldn't possibly be his system or the other teams' coaches and players.

im surprised that its still happening from a respectable reporter. i think you can question many of CLM's decisions (but you can do that for any coach), but he just won the SEC and NC. blanket statements about his coaching ability are baseless. sounds like vindictiveness or salaciousness.

    that was with Nick's players.:)

While we're on the subject of blow-outs, remember Bama back in '96 (28-0)?

Shaun Alexander (a phucking freshman) turned in the single greatest rushing performance I ever saw in person. Of course we have an excuse for not scoring. a combination of DiNardo as coach and Brian Sparacino as QB.

I was at that game unfortunately. But, we payed them back the next year in T-town by almost the exact same score. (27-0)

Herb went down early, 1st or 2nd drive of the game. We never stood a chance after that.

i was at both those games. in 96, espn gameday's first trip here #10 vs #11 and i painted my face for the first and last time for a game. (i was a student at the time).

in 97 they lost to la tech the week before. then we came in and drilled them. i remember chuck wiley having a pretty solid game.

i remember their fans being so courteous and almost shy. i guess losing 27-0 to a team you've beaten at their place since '69 will do that to a fan base.
